Thea Shogren holds a BA in Creative Writing from Arizona State University. She is a Teach for America corps member and 7th grade teacher. She’s pursuing a Master’s in Secondary Education while simultaneously writing poems and essays about young adulthood. Her poems have been published in Normal Noise and Grey Matter, and she has served as a managing editor for Grey Matter.
